Rat fursuit!

It's done! (Just about.) Still with rose_quoll for some finishing touches. However, I did go over for a fitting and posed for the camera.












Someone said it was her best work yet. Funny. I feel the same way. Thank you Rose!

A fantastic suit, and some great poses - the hunkered down, arms crossed and last one happen to be my favourites :) (oh, and tail nibblage!)
(last photo puts me in mind of you going "oh, hi shadow....*hugs*" or "tired rat, gonna fall forward into some soft hay....if I had some")

Hot. You get a cooling breeze in through the eyes, but of course that doesn't work when you're inside. I'm thinking of asking Rose to install a fan.

As I look at it more closely: Interesting paw design. You chose to make the backs of the paws furred but a smooth front? Why not all pink?

It never occurred to me to do it any other way. A few answers I could give would be following cartoon convention and because the pink material on the underside of the paw probably wouldn't be appropriate for the whole paw. I will endorse Ristin's suggestion too. I am thinking I'd like claws on the foot paws, though.

With the benefit of hindsight, I think it was better off this way. In a partial fursuit, I was able to get the benefit of the cooling air on my chest through the shirt I was wearing. Besides which, at least I could wear pants to the Mardi Gras then.
