On our way to Mardi Gras
Mar. 3rd, 2005 02:57 pmI'm in the car with Ristin, Rose and Stephen, about 450 k away from Sydney, to march in the Mardi Gras. We left well before 7, but lost time due to roadworks and obstructionist drivers. After our whirlwind tour of Sydney and its gay community, we plan to be back in Brisbane in time for Ristin's new job on Monday. Yay! Wish us luck.

Or the restaurant section of the Lord Nelson, in the Rocks, was good too, but I have warmer memories of the former. Or, for an authentic Belgian time, a short journey over the bridge is Epoque, in Cammeray - all the fittings were imported from Belgium, and the menu's quite distinctively native also. The beer selection is too, of course, though rather pricier than in .be)
Assuming food is a topic of interest to rats, of course. ^_^
Is there a camera or camcorder amongst the furry contingent? I know I for one would love to see picture or video from the event.
