It's odd how few predators, or even omnivores, feature in restaurant or catering logos. Compare against the species about to be eaten, on the other paw - plenty of places will show off a happy chicken, pig, fish, or cow, joyful at the prospect of offering its kin to you, the dear guest.
And I'm not just saying that because I've never seen a red panda feature in a restaurant's sign. Something I must remedy, someday. ^_^
I wonder what a dolphin's sense of taste is like? What happens if you're a dolphin who doesn't actually like fish? Then again, at least there's variety to be had - if you're a sheep who doesn't care for grass, life is probably quite awkward.
I find it very offputting that most resteraunts use the species to advertise its own meat.
I'd love to run a furry resteraunt. With a pig, cow, chicken and sheep out front pushing the menu. ^_^ but each representative of species would push the other meats, not its own. Cute eh? Might be fun for promotions or weekends or something...not full time.
