Rats in the news
Sep. 7th, 2009 11:15 amCheck out this adorable new rat they found in a 'lost' volcano in PNG. (If the volcano is lost, how did they find the rat?) He is 82cm, cute as a button and completely unafraid of humans. (Thanks to Porsupah for pointing this out.)

Date: 2009-09-08 02:32 am (UTC)Now to find the giant FERRETS! They're probably in the tunnels deep to the center of the earth. Had the explorers brought a ferret with them instead of following the "AS" graffiti, they'd have their shinies AND get out quickly and safely!

But what does 'following the "AS" graffiti' mean?

Date: 2009-09-08 03:05 am (UTC)Arne Saknussemm (Arnie Saccnuson) first made the voyage to the center of the earth, etching "AS" wherever he went, including wrong turns and dangerous places.
