The Furry Party of Australia's campaign launch for the Queensland election ended in a political sh!tstorm when their sole election pledge of protecting Queensland jobs by providing funding for Rats Can Cook was ruined when it was revealed that the next episode (currently in post production) was filmed in Melbourne and the one after it is slated to go offshore.

That is not a particularily good pledge though, just providing funding for Rats Can Cook would only protect a small, quite small, portion of Queensland jobs.

And now, they break that pledge, proposing production and potentially post-production overseas.

Quite unfortunate.

Though, on the other hand, it will mean a greater number of Rats Can Cook episodes, which is in itself a positive.

The FPA doesn't have any control over the production of
Rats Can Cook
, so they're not breaking a campaign pledge. The intention of this post was to provide a satirical overview of the notion of making handouts to private corporations without any strings attached. And seeing as I do RCC in my spare time, it doesn't even guarantee there'll be more episodes!
