You've seen the video, now look at the drawing! The wonderful, generous and talented [livejournal.com profile] zelox_quo drew another great drawing of me. Thankfully, he took it in the spirit it was intended when I said it was his best drawing of me yet and even when I gave him some (hopefully) constructive criticism. In fact, he took that criticism to heart and made the drawing even better: the mark of a true artist! There's no doubt that Zelox is improving in leaps and bounds. Sadly, he won't be doing free artwork for "practice" for much longer since he's getting good enough to charge top dollar for his work. :/

I don't think you have told me before, so thank you! I do appreciate hearing that, especially from people as talented as yourself. There will be more videos but I can't say exactly when. I can't do another Rats Can Cook with [livejournal.com profile] higgs_raccoon, at least not any time soon, and it won't be the same without him. I do have a couple of ideas, and maybe one of them will come to fruition in the next few months.

The drawing is certainly a nice complement to your videos!  I also checked out your fav's gallery at FA.  I was surprised to see so many rats in unfortunate circumstances!

It is a very nicely done illustration, and captures the scene well.

I remember what a poor, sweaty rat you were after slaving over that hot stove in mid-Summer...

Heh, so glad you like it.

Thanks for the complements. *blushes*

Well done, Zelox! The positioning of the arms is good, and the eyes have the correct orientation so that Marko is looking directly at the food. Eyes can be hard to coordinate. A little bit of shading at the bottom of the jaw and arms helps to provide some visual depth to the subject. Spot on!

Very nice! :) You definitely need to make more cooking videos, they're so cute...
