We lost a good friend today

I never knew him, or even knew of him, but judging from the tributes flooding into my flist a lot of people knew Furp. He helped some very dear friends in their time of gravest need, and for that he has my eternal gratitude. To everyone who was lucky enough to know him or to have their lives touched by him, all I can do is to offer you my sincerest condolences. I'm sorry I can't tell each of you in person, but be assured I'm grieving with you all. It sounds like all of us, even those who didn't know him, lost a good friend today.

Some have suggested the lesson we should take from this is how important it is that we live each day of our life to the fullest. It's hard, I know it's hard, but I couldn't agree more.

I didn't know him either, and send those that did my condolences.

Your post is a great tribute to him though, I think you did a great job to show how much of a good person he was with the little you may have known of him.

I'm still left pretty speechless myself by this. *sighs* Even though I didn't know him personally, he was part of my wider social circle, not to mention a fellow furry. It's really hard to believe he's gone now, much less because of this - because someone else didn't have the common sense to not drink and drive.

I've spoken to him over the past year, just wish I had gotten to known him better personally...
