I spent today helping to rebuild a 20+-year-old car that we're planning to drive down to MiDFur X in December (in Melbourne, over 1600km away).

That's a 1977 Daimler limousine. It looks like it's more in one piece but I don't know what shape it's in mechanically. We don't get a choice unfortunately. It's also going to be Byron's general runabout car so I think a 1.2L engine is a much better choice than 5.3L. :) I wouldn't mind the extra storage capacity of the Daimler though for the trip down. It has to take three people plus a fursuit and general luggage.
