Somebody saw fit to trash this Council car, maybe as a protest about Council services.

I love seeing stuff out of Australia. :-) But um.. what is this Council tou speak of and this splat rat.. what does it do? :-)

Brisbane City Council is the 3rd tier government for the City of Brisbane. Commonwealth (Foreign Affairs, Military etc) - State (Education Health etc) - LGA Shires, Cities etc (Dog catchers, garbage collection, secondary roads and smaller, sewerage etc).

Brisbane City Council arose out of an amalgamation of 20-odd more normally sized cities and shires almost a century ago, has a population of something like 1,000,000 people, and an budget comparable to many small nations.

Hehe.... so the question is should I tempt fate and see if my brain can fathom local Aussie government? XD

And now... over in the US it's probably not any better. Especially where I live where a mayor GETS appointed rather than elected. :-)
