Oh, God, it's all been so amazing! (No wonder I haven't had time to update.)
Yesterday... I met Remy. Yes, that Remy. I hyperventilated when I opened the door and saw Remy waiting for me. We went conning together with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
madiushrat, 3catsjackson and kit_ping (who wasn't in suit but kindly acted as our spotter). We then got our photos taken by a professional photographer they have situated on the second floor. So, yes, Rattus has had his photo taken with Remy. I know I keep saying this, but photos will come later (when I work out how to get them).
Today... I held one side of the bannermadiushrat made up to commemorate 2008 being the Year of the Rat. Much to my surprise, they let us rats and mice lead the parade. Thank you very much to Madius for letting me have this great honour. I truly did feel proud to be a rat then. I don't have any photos obviously but I know there will be plenty out there. Just do a search for further confusion 2008 fursuit parade. (If helpful people on my friends list want to direct me to photos they've found of me leading the parade, I would be very grateful.)
Haal's motto was "Expect the impossible," and I have been living that since Oz Kangaroo, Ristin Raccoon and Pouch Hopper changed my life back in late 2003. I am grateful to the point of tears for all the joy that has come into my life since then.
