Being furry

sabotlours' inspiring entry about being furry in a mundane world, and found it echoed much of my own thoughts. I have often dwelled on the price I potentially pay for my furriness when dealing with the mundane reality of job hunting. But leaving aside the importance of expressing oneself if one hopes to be happy, when I look at what furry fandom has so generously given me since my furry rebirth and the best that the mundane world could realistically offer, it would be laughable to suggest I should sacrifice the former for the latter. Besides which, any workplace that would be so uptight as to deny me this expression of joy is probably not somewhere I would be happy working anyway.
